Porsche 718 2.0/2.5 Boxster/Cayman Cat/GPF Back Performance Exhaust
Cobra Sport performance exhausts enhance the sound, looks and quality of your vehicle giving you the ultimate driving experience. Our sports exhausts range is fully guaranteed to give you assurance of our quality.
This Porsche 718 Cat/GPF back performance exhaust is made in 2.5" (63.5mm) pipework and fit from the Catalyst/Gasoline Particulate Filter section backwards (Cat/GPF-back), this exhaust replaces the link pipes and rear sections.
Featuring a resonated option which eccentuates the tone and burble of the boxer engine without being overly loud, and a non-resonated version which gives this performance car the performance sound that you would have expected direct from Porsche.
With a choice of 4" tailpipe options including carbon fibre tips, this exhaust offers improvement in terms of exhaust tone, bass and sound level whilst keeping the stock catalyst and GPF in place.
This exhaust system has been designed with interchangeable options, allowing the user to tailor the system to their needs using the drop down boxes. The utilisation of V-bands means that you can easily swap out the resonated section for non-resonated or vice versa at a later date, just contact us and we can supply the relevent part at a fraction of the cost of the full system.
Please Note:
All relevant fittings and gaskets are supplied.
The valved system is only compatible with vehicles enabled with PSE from factory.

Press Release
Cobra Sport’s GPF-back performance exhaust systems for the Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster models are designed to enhance both sound and driving experience across the 2.0L and 2.5L boxer engines. The factory exhaust note on the 718 models is known for being relatively subdued, and these systems have been engineered to add the tone, character, and presence that many Porsche owners look for.
The exhaust system is built around simplicity and flexibility, with both (performance) resonated and (venom) non‑resonated options available depending on the desired volume level. Whether you prefer a more refined everyday soundtrack or a sharper, more motorsport‑inspired tone, there’s a configuration to suit your preferences.
You can choose to retain the factory valve control or remove it entirely for a more cost‑effective setup with a consistent, always‑on performance sound. The system uses quick‑release V‑band clamps throughout, making it easy to purchase and swap components such as resonated sections in minutes. This allows effortless adjustments for long journeys, track days, or spirited weekend driving.

An exhaust upgrade is not just about improving sound, it also enhances the vehicle’s visual presence. The system is finished with Cobra Sport’s signature 4” tailpipes, available in stainless steel, ceramic black, or carbon fibre finish.

The resonated configuration delivers a more refined version of the boxer engine’s tone, ideal for daily driving and for those who want added character without excessive volume.
For drivers seeking a more aggressive exhaust note, the non‑resonated Venom setup provides a deeper, sharper sound that brings the engine’s personality to life, while retaining all emissions components for full MOT compliance. On the road, the non‑resonated system offers a strong low‑rev bass and an exciting, pronounced roar under acceleration. Importantly, it has been developed to avoid drone or cabin resonance, maintaining comfort during everyday use while offering a distinctive performance soundtrack.
